Work the night shift for a backwoods radio station in the 1980s. With up to three friends, drive a battered news van into the woods, plant microphones and tape broadcasts that shouldn't exist. Stay close and stay quiet: something out there is listening, and it has learned your voices.

• Sweep the woods with a scanner, set up tripod mics and lock onto the signal.
• One of you runs the van: tune the frequency, watch the radar, record to tape.
• Proximity voice and walkie-talkies. Wander too far and your crew turns to static.
• The Mimic copies your friends' voices. That call for help might not be them.
• Sell the tapes, earn the station's trust and upgrade your gear.
